Datapath

ICE has support for the Datapath Vision SC range of capture cards. These cards include the VisionSC-UHD2, VisionSC-DP2, and VisionSC-HD4+. The Datapath Layer enables users to select from available video inputs to initialise video capture.

Setup

1. Create a new Datapath layer. From the toolbar navigate to Layer > Add Layer > Datapath

2. With the Datapath layer selected in ICE, you will see a list of available video inputs for your capture card within the Layer properties panel.

3. Simply select the input you wish to capture from. You can change this selection at any point.

4. Once the input is selected, the software will initialise video capture from that input.

Troubleshooting

Should you encounter any issues while using the Datapath Capture layer in ICE, please take the following steps:

1. Ensure that the capture card is correctly installed and recognised by your system, this can be verified within windows device manage and the Datapath Vision application.

2. Check that the appropriate drivers for the card are up-to-date.

3. Make sure the video source connected to the selected input of the capture card is sending out the signal correctly
