Igloo Core Engine

Igloo Control Panel Configuration

Settings Menu

The Settings menu contains various options to customise control panel behaviour. It’s referenced throughout this documentation where relevant.

General

  • Theme (Use Device Setting, Light, Dark)

  • Show Home Warning
Prompts for confirmation before returning home (which removes all unpinned layers).

  • Enable Launchpad Scrolling
    See Launchpad (Control Panel) .

  • Show Collections in Session Library
See Content Library (Control Panel) – with this setting toggled off, sessions will always be shown in a flat list without Collections.

  • Enable AI Image Generation (Beta)

Casting

See Casting - Mouse

Devices

Manage hardware integrations.

  • Enable DualSense controllers
DualSense controllers can cast to game engine content or to the Canvas UI directly.
Turning this setting off makes them unavailable for both uses.

  • DualSense default for Canvas UI casting
Turning this setting on will make DualSense the default Canvas UI casting input when you start cursor casting.

  • Authorise / Forget / Power Off DualSense
Handles trust, removal, and power control for controllers.

  • Enable StreamDeck
StreamDeck devices can be used to display appropriate Launchpad grids – see Launchpad (Control Panel)

  • Authorise StreamDeck
Grant Control Panel access to StreamDeck devices

Game Engine

See Casting - Game Controller

Workspace

Use Workspace to select the active Head Position for the current environment/session. See True Perspective .

Switch System

Use Switch System to move between available systems directly from Control Panel:

  • View the currently connected system

  • Select and connect to another discovered or saved system.

  • Add additional systems.

Local Settings

Most of the settings described in this page are stored in relation to the media server you’re currently connected to. For example, mouse sensitivities are stored on a per-connection basis.

Some settings, though, are stored on the device and used for all systems. These are:

  • Colour theme

  • Systems available in Switch System

Command Line Arguments (Desktop)

Control Panel supports launch arguments on desktop for startup behavior control.

  • --kiosk
Starts Control Panel in fullscreen mode. It can only be exited with Alt+F4 or Alt+Tab (or macOS equivalents).

  • --initial-path <path>
Opens directly to a specific Control Panel route instead of the default landing page.
    Example: --initial-path launchpad

  • --launchpad-only
Disable the “Back” button on the launchpad page. Note that this currently does not imply
    --initial-path launchpad (but ought to).
